Dr. Justin D. Brown, DVM has been involved in 4-H since he was 8 years old. He participated in livestock projects and showed at county fairs for years, sparking his interest in becoming a vet. He graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. After practicing in Danville, IL for several years, he moved his growing family to the Peoria area and started Brown Animal Hospital in 2005. He continually works to grow the practice. His professional interests include both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. His most interesting clinical experience involved performing oral surgery on a full grown Bengal tiger! His personal interests include outdoor activities such as fishing and archery. Dr. Brown is married with 3 lovely girls and one lonely boy at home. His family lives with and alongside 5 dogs (Lucy, Maya, JoJo, Bear, & Otis), 2 cats (Oliver & Katya), a bearded dragon named Mushu, a hedgehog named George and a pig named Oreo.
